CloudPlay Setup

CloudPlay is a JRiver service used by eMCee for CloudPlay playback. To use CloudPlay with eMCee, you need a CloudPlay account and must be signed in to CloudPlay on the JRiver Media Center computer linked to eMCee.

1. Create a CloudPlay account

JRiver requires a CloudPlay account. If you do not already have one, create one on JRiver's CloudPlay website.

Create a CloudPlay Account

2. Sign in to CloudPlay in JRiver

  1. Open JRiver Media Center on the computer linked to eMCee.
  2. Open CloudPlay in JRiver Media Center.
  3. Sign in with your CloudPlay account.
Make sure the specific JRiver installation linked to eMCee is signed in to CloudPlay. Being signed in on a different computer does not sign in this installation.

3. Test CloudPlay in JRiver

Before testing through eMCee, confirm that CloudPlay works directly inside JRiver Media Center on that computer.

4. Try CloudPlay with eMCee

Alexa, ask eMCee to start CloudPlay with artist Madonna
Alexa, ask eMCee to start CloudPlay with genre soul
Alexa, ask eMCee to start CloudPlay with playlist Five Stars

CloudPlay still not working?

Confirm that the same CloudPlay request works directly in JRiver and that JRiver is still signed in to CloudPlay. Then see the eMCee troubleshooting page for additional checks.
